Buckley's Zev is an effective treatment for the temporary relief of mild upper respiratory tract problems and bronchial irritation. Also provides temporary relief of nasal congestion. Contains ammonium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate, camphor and menthol.
INSTRUCTIONS
For temporary relief of coughs associated with minor upper respiratory tract problems or mild bronchial irritation: Mix 45 to 60 ml (3 to 4 tablespoons) of liquid ZEV with equal parts of honey, molasses or corn syrup. Place back on tongue.
Administer two or three times a day for 48 hours, or as directed by a veterinarian. For temporary relief of nasal congestion: add 60 ml (4 tablespoons) of liquid ZEV to about 10 liters of boiling water and place where the animal can breathe in the vapours freely.
INGREDIENTS
Non-medicinal ingredients: Carrageenan, benzoic acid, sodium cyclamate, sorbitol solution, Canada balsam, pine needle oil, bell pepper oleoresin (contains capsaicin), ethanolic alcohol, liquid licorice extract, solid gentian extract, ginger root extract, molasses and water.
Active ingredients per 1 ml: Ammonium carbonate (30.2 mg), potassium bicarbonate (52.7 mg), camphor (0.44 mg), menthol (4.4 mg), liquid extract of scilla (0.5 mg), solid extract of buckthorn (0.7 mg).
